Hi, I’m Sasha.
I am a 12-year resident of District 4, a regular at Greenlake and Third Place Books, and a renter aspiring to buy a home with my future wife.
I work in public service, currently with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where I direct a high school mentoring program. I am privileged to see first hand the intelligence, strength and potential of our city’s youth, and am dedicated to creating a just and more equitable Seattle for them. I believe that is attainable if we work together.
Resilience and collaboration have been constants throughout my career, which has spanned nonprofit, for-profit and government sectors. I have earned degrees at two universities deeply rooted in social justice, Seattle University and Brandeis University, volunteered with the Peace Corps, started my own business, and worked in multiple positions with incredible nonprofit organizations.
This campaign is about bringing your voice and my experience to our City Council. I'm running as your neighbor, and your advocate. Join me and let's build something better together!
